About San Pancho

San Pancho is located on Mexico's West coast thirty miles North of Puerto Vallarta. It has a population of approx 1100 people, including about two hundred foreign nationals. It is a mix of new and old with horseback as a common mode of transportation.

Echeveria (Mexico's former president) initiated development of San Pancho in the 1970's into a vacation retreat . His grand plan to host foreign dignitaries from all over the globe eventually fizzled out, but it left the town with some beautiful architecture and cobblestone streets.

The natural beauty and slow pace of San Pancho makes it a great place to get away for some peace and relaxation. It's also a great place to be inspired by the beauty of nature and incredible sunsets.
